Uwe Nicholas Framenau received a classical training in portraiture under John Walton at the Heatherley School of Fine Art in Chelsea, London. the human figure and face have always been the centre of his art and the focus of his work. in a portrait, he is interested in creating a likeness of the sitter, instead of trying to go for an abstract or psychologically motivated artistic result.
